First class (February 4th)

Summary

Today we talked a little bit about what Esperanto is, and then we jumped straight into the alphabet and pronunciation.

Homework

  1. Please join the course mailing list if you haven’t already. This will be the primary place to get announcements.

  2. Have a look at the handouts (below) about Esperanto and its history.

  3. Read chapter 1 and chapter 2 in the textbook and solve the exercises (Ekzerco 2.1 through Ekzerco 2.4 and the Demandoj). I’ll have answers for you in next week’s class, or you can send your solutions and/or questions via email if you’d like faster feedback: esperanto@lodestone.org.
